The TOGAF Quick Guide User Guide

• This quick guide includes @ 15 pages of detail providing a short overview of TOGAF and links into greater detail in other documents.
  

• The left hand page holds the menu in the form of hyperlinks.

•  Clicking on the menu will open up that item in the main content page (except for the Appendix which may link to an external site).

• Each section in the main content page is set as a bookmark enabling the hyperlinks to land on that part of the page.

• The main page has two types of hyperlinks.

  • The first type links you to the associated bookmarked section on the main page or an external source. These links are in the text and presented as link.     

  • The second type links you to external content in other TOGAF documents, such as the Fundamental Content and the Series Guides and are next to the headings.. These external links are presented as link and will open a new web page for the target information.

• The content in the main page has been designed to show a specific width that is easy to read and will fit easily on a Full HD screen. While the frame can be resized, the content will remain at the same size (subject to the web page % setting you are using). Changing the web page % setting will increase and decrease the size of the content.

• All graphics can be selected to open a larger view which will open in a new tab.

• When selecting Fig.3 the detailed diagram view includes further links which will remain in the same tab if directly selected. Select the back arrow for the page to get back to the overview slide. If you open the links in a new tab, both tabs will be open just close the new tab to view the detailed diagram view.

• You can view all of the diagrams in one go full size from the "Quick Guide Site Diagrams" link at the bottom of the menu.
