He has extensive world-wide experience working for major blue chip companies and their clients, delivering business and IT consulting, developing and implementing solution and enterprise architectures, implementing technology and knowledge change, educating and training, leading and managing teams, and leading and managing professional communities.

Michael has specific in depth capability in real world enterprise architecture practices having led/supported enterprise and solution architecture programmes in major organisations over the last 20 years including TransCanada Pipelines, Xansa, First Banking Systems (Bank of Scotland) Cooperative Financial Services, Registers of Scotland, BT and WPP.

He is a qualified teacher (PGCE), a TOGAF certified enterprise architect, a British Computer Society award winner and certified solution and enterprise architect, and a BT expert certified architect. He is a member of The Open Group and the British Computer Society.

Experience and interests extend beyond business and ICT solutions into general systems theory, business management and the theory and practice of effective relationships between individuals, groups and organisations. He is also a Psychology graduate and published author in the field of Relationship Dynamics.
